Musicman20
Hey Im guessing some people buy direct from USA....is this a good idea? Do you end up paying a lot of charges? Are there any good reliable online stores in UK, or worldwide, that people have used? Thanks!
Stewart
In the US Tonefactor are marvellous - but the Pound isn't that good against the dollar at present In the UK check out Effect Power Supplies and Hotrox UK (Google will get you straight to both)
bobbass4k
from america proguitarshop.com are quite good, they stock mostly boutique gear that's hard to come by over here, and when I ordered them they marked down the value on the shipping info so it wouldn't get stopped and leaving me paying exorbitant import duty, which is very handy
Musicman20
Cheers guys Hotrox in the UK seem fairly cheap and they have stock. Its about £140 for the pedal, all incl. From USA, about £110, but then gotta add any charges, so not really much cheaper due to the current exchange rate. This time I might go with UK. Muse_Cubed
Tonefactor are amazing - received all my stuff from there in under a week (they also mark it to avoid customs) and shipping is $20 flat.
dannybuoy
Yup, bought a couple of pedals from Tonefactor, arrived in a week or less and no customs charges.
Musicman20
I might go with Tonefactor....they seem to be ablout £40 cheaper incl postage. Anyone ordered two pedals at once (thus getting free postage on the second?)
Dubs
Another +1 for Hotrox. If you're ever in Notts then go and check them out - fantastic customer service.
gnasher1993
Crush The Button in Belgium sells loads of boutique effects. http://www.crushthebutton.be/?lang=en
tayste_2000
I buy almost all my fx from America and very rarely get charged duty on them, also even with duty on them it still works out cheaper. Tonefactor are the best online store barre none

CuticleThorns
Tonefactor are brilliant. I also recomeend Effects Power Supplies for a UK seller. Just bought a POG2 & I have nothing but praise for Richard there, 100% satisfied with his customer service. If I am ever down there I'll definately drop by.
