umcoo
I got some Wizard 84's on Friday to put in a project jazz, the bridge pup works fine, but the neck has extremely low output. Barely audible in fact. Any one have a reason why this would be? I've tried pickup height and checked my wiring is good but can't understand what's going wrong. Would a faulty pot cause reduced volume? Merci
GreeneKing
You could try wiring it direct to the jack and see what the output is like that way. Peter
BassBod
Most likely a problem with the pickup? Very low output is often an internal short....contact the maker? There isn't much to a single coil pickup to go wrong...except the windings and polarity.
umph
check your wiring again, also if you have a volt meter check the pot - it's not very likely to be that though Edited June 16, 2009 by umph
