harryharold
i have just stumbled upon the devi ever peep photo expression pedal thing, looks cool and there some noisey toys that may work very well with it. has anyone else had a play and does it actually work as well as the various vids say it does? thisnameistaken
I can imagine it being a bit impractical for stage use.
iamapirate
hmm, it says it works by light/shoadow, but that looks as though it would work by proximity... Also, if it does just work by light, then you would have a bit of trouble on a really dark stage (or a really bright outdoor gig)
harryharold
my thoughts as well with the lights but was wandering if anyone had actually used it. one of the vids has a set up with a lamp but if you're going to do that you may as well jst get an expression pedal. tayste_2000
Most people use a dedicated light source such as a bendy usb lamp, they are pretty cool the point of it is to be different than a treadle expression pedal sorta thing you can wave your hand over and make cool noises, I plan on getting one for my M13 at somepoint. thisnameistaken
The Frostwave Spacebeam seems like a smarter idea, but of course it's a fair bit bigger, more expensive, and he's not making pedals at the moment.
