boost

im lookin for advice on a pedal i can use to boost my clean sound. im currently running a b2re though a svt-410hlf with a sanamp tech 21 which im totally happy! however i need a pedal that i can use to boost my sound for certain parts in songs, however i dont want a distortion pedal, any advice?

Try Silent Fly's Red Dragon boost in the for sale section. Should do a clean boost as well as a mildly overdriven boost too!

I used to use a Marshall Guv'nor (I know, it's a distortion!) which did a pretty good job... I got a POD so the boost is on the patches now.

Yes - the Red Dragon is definitely capable of working as a clean booster.

There is also the EHX LPB-1 which does the job pretty well, and they are a bargain at about £25-30 new.

the ehx unit isn't, as far as i've heard, a flat boost...it does add some colouration.

all depends if you like the colouration !
