Yellowjackets

Hi,
I'm just sorting out Matinee Idol and as I'm not familiar with the Yellowjackets work as a whole I wondered if anyone out there in Basschat land could recommend a CD. It doesn't have to have Matinee Idol on it I'd just like to get a good flavour of their music.

Mint Jam is a live Yellowjackets recording and absolutely marvellous IMHO.

Check out the first album man, simply titled The Yellowjackets, every song is pure cheesey American Chat show music but it's so good you can't help but smile, and Jimmy Haslip is by far one of the most underrated bassists out there!

A great album...thumbs up for that one...

I got to see Jimmy Haslip in Berlin a couple of months back...
and he was awsome..
Then got to chat with him for about 1/2 hour after the gig...
