Geejay Posted September 2, 2007 Share Posted September 2, 2007 Hi, I'm just sorting out Matinee Idol and as I'm not familiar with the Yellowjackets work as a whole I wondered if anyone out there in Basschat land could recommend a CD. Josh Posted September 2, 2007 Share Posted September 2, 2007 Check out the first album man, simply titled The Yellowjackets, every song is pure cheesey American Chat show music but it's so good you can't help but smile, and Jimmy Haslip is by far one of the most underrated bassists out there! I got to see Jimmy Haslip in Berlin a couple of months back... and he was awsome.. Then got to chat with him for about 1/2 hour after the gig...
