thedontcarebear
Anyone recommend any good cheapish ones? I put CTS pots in my Warmoth, got some knobs from the same company and was told they would fit, only for them to be wonky on 2, and split the shaft on the 3rd, costing me £4 for a new pot, and a waste of a fiver for the knobs, so any recommendations? A link would be good, and even better if the place sells the pots too, so I don't have to use axesrus again.
BOD2
Just found exactly the same problem (from the same supplier, which was a shame because everything else from them was good). Anyway - CTS pots are standard Fender equipment so any genuine Fender knobs should fit. I would also guess that any genuine USA-made knobs should fit. I think the problem is with import (Far East) items. The pots are different - probably metric - and the knobs are sized to fit. Where to buy genuine US parts ? Well Allparts might do them http://www.allparts.uk.com/ Other than that you could go to Bass Parts Resource. Shipping is $15 for orders under $100. thedontcarebear
I bought some fender ones, and they were for solid shafts, I really wish I had never bought split shaft pots now!
