It'd definitely put me off especially as the luthier who repaired the break is in the U.S. He's quoted as saying"the neck will never break in that spot again because of the strength of the epoxy he uses". Then again it might be my eyesight! It still looks edible though! My first foray into mega-expensive custom made basses was in fact a 4 string Custom Thumb with LEDs and gold hardware!
