skipper Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Does anyone else find that they can't stand still when playing, today over about 1/2 an hour I wandered all the way round our guitarist, tying his feet together with my lead and sent him crashing to the floor. maybe i'm taking the whole walking bassline too literally! iamapirate Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 haha! There's nothing like getting into the grove! Funk hard rock ftw! Quote
allighatt0r Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I'm far more active when slightly sozzled. I plan to get my wireless out tonight though! special occasion! I get so much mroe active when playing off of other guys in the band... we're not just band members, we're really good mates, and we have a good laugh. Favourite activity: playing "who can do the widest rock stance" with the lead guitarist Quote
beerdragon Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I like to wander a bit. although the places we play i'm usually stuck for room, i tend to bang our sing in the T..ts with my headstock. Quote
Kongo Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Walkings good! Plus your feet will ache like mad standing in one spot for 2 hours with a 10-12lb bass! Treating rehearsals like a gig is never a bad idea either. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 When gigging in the past, due to nerves I move around lots ,pulling off various rock poses and waving at people whilst playing. Something I've always done, and it looks like everyone appeciates it. Quote

steve-soar Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 I pull faces when I'm playing and my drummer often calls me a dick. He is not long for the band. Quote

soopercrip Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Maybe a more laid back approach on stage is what's needed. These guys seemed to do ok [attachment=27440:MCAW22PX...CAE0SV2U.jpg] Quote
