Pitch-shifter + processor

So, can Pitch-shifter work with processor?
Sorry, if it's dumb question, I simply heard, that these one's are separate things, and (maybe) сan't work together...?

I don't see why not, unless there's something specific to the particular gear your talking about.

A pitch shifter will usually track better with a clean signal so you would put it early in the signal chain, or take a spilt and combine the signal s later.

Is there a particular piece of gear you're referring to?

Well, at the moment, I'm choosing between Line6 Pod XT Live and BOSS GT-6B processor, but, practically, I don't know anything about pitch-shifters ( prices, working and so on).
