soopercrip
They were once a support act for someone reasonably famous one night in Doncaster at a venue called Outlook I can't even remember the headline act because they totally stole the show for me. Steve 'Kid' Strange ( with a slight speech impedement) and Urban Blitz on Violin were mezmerising. Particular fav is 'Marie and Joe' Surely I'm not the only 'survivor'... tarcher
Saw them in London in the early seventies.Very strange but mesmerising sound as I remember. Used to have one of their early albums but sold it about twenty years ago due to skintness
Marky L
Alas I never did see them. As I recall they were joined by Dave Vanian from The Damned for a brief period when the Damne split in '78.
molan
I saw them way down the bill at a festival somewhere - I think maybe Reading. They didn't exactl'y go down a storm but I thought they were quite interesting, lol.
Low End Bee
I saw them a couple of times in 78'ish. I still have a copy of the 'Bulletin' single somewhere that's a fine bandwagon jumping slice of quasi punk. The violin is terrible and magnificent at the same time!
