VT1-EQ-BASS DRIVE - Trimpot? and headroom question.

Hi
I am just looking for advice on how to optimise the clean headroom from this pedal.


Also there is a trimpot in side - I am rluctant to adjust it until i know for sure its meant to be adjusted?

The trimpot sets the EQ level. It's fine to adjust it.

The boost switch is there to help with clean headroom.

Can someone reccomend a tube for a tighter and cleaner sound?

i dont mind swapping out a resistor/cap or two either i am no stranger to a bit of soledring

right now i just think its too woolly for my tastes but would be a great tool if i could make use of it as it has super features -
