steve
I've decided to move on my franken P as I'm playing six strings exclusively, there are in progress pics as well as completed pics in this post. I'll get some more pics up when time permits. It's a stunning looking bass with a nice low action. In summary - lovely figured maple fretboard - two piece swamp ash body - piezo bridge - dimarzio model P pickup (i think, definately dimarzio tho') - vol/tone control for pickup/bridge - 9v homebrew preamp for the piezo but all the details are in the thread above. As far as price goes, I'd be looking for offers around £250, but I would be interested in trade for a fretless I would be more than happy for people to come and have a look and a try out (in facy I'd prefer it really) ta edited to change trade options Edited August 26, 2009 by steve

steve
thought I'd add a couple of pics while my camera was out bit of figuring on the fretboard... nice body shot the chattoyance (I think that's the word) on the body wood is beautiful, especially in sunlight, which admittedly is a problem in manchester

steve
decided to bump this as I fancy having another go at fretless. Ideally I'm looking for a fretless jazz (olly white/tort/rosewood would be astoundingly good) but I'll consider trades for anything really as long as it's fretless. I can do a cash adjustment each way cheers
