soopercrip Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Doesn't seem that expensive compared to going active http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FENDER-JAZZ-BASS-VAR...%3A1%7C294%3A50 Andy Quote
Stingray5 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Looks interesting. I'm just thinking of swapping out the pups in my USA Jazz from the standard pups currently fitted. I wonder if this might be an alternative. I'm keeping this one passive. Cheers, Steve. p.s. - how are the bairns this morning? Quote

waynepunkdude Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Looks good but it only seems like it's available on eBay which makes me a little suspicious. MythSte Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 I'd shoot for the Villex passive stuff myself Quote
ironside1966 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 I have one on a jap Jazz A good service with nice people who answered all my questions. Will not improve the sound like a active but will give more variations Quote

So might not be cheaper? Quote

ben_eat_pie Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 +1 for swapping out USA pups.... a bit weak for my liking. I threw a set P/J set of EMG selects, passive, and it did wonders for the bass! These were some pretty seriously cheap pups too! Quote
