Good songs for a 5 string bass?

I changed to 5 as I was 'hearing' that sort of voice...
and it is the reason why I don't chop and change...

Once you have re-learned all your fingering and spacings, it feels like being naked without the low B...

but.... you can do it to death...
Cheers for the song suggestions guys. I’m working my way through some of them as well as some other stuff that I’ve been making up as I’ve been discovering the extra range :brow:

I’m finding that the major advantage with a 5 is being able to play pretty much everything vertically and having so many notes easily accessible within the stretch of your fingers without any significant hand movement. It’s great! Definitely a different feel to a 4 though. I’d still say 4s are better for some stuff though...
Uh-huh...well keep playing and then you'll distance from 4-string IF you use all the range of the 5!
Now...imagine if you uhm...y'know...added another string?
Would that like...not give even more range? :brow:
Try 'Ladies & Gentlemen' by Saliva. Youtube it - have fun! - Can't play the verse on a 4 - not low enough :)

I own a Custom Shop Washburn Idol which belonged to the guitar player from Saliva. Its by far the best guitar I've ever played. f*** knows why he got rid of it.
