martin lee Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Hey John, Cheers maybe had this for 6 months now, hope you are well. Quote
jwbassman Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 It's cool - if I was ordering another OW it would along these lines - I'm into my Fender 75RI at the moment, but I'm sure one of these would be better!! I'm good thanks - tired but good, that's what a 16 week old, plus a full time job and gigging does for you - not to mention the freelance stuff! Hope all is well with you, I must get up to Carlisle again soon Take care... Quote

clagooey Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 My brand new 6-string fretless Progress III arrived today; blown away doesn't even describe it. I'll probably post some more pictures later with a decent camera, but for now it's play times! [attachment=76874:2011_04_...10.01.55.jpg] [attachment=76875:2011_04_...10.02.05.jpg] Cheers, Tom Quote

TheGreek Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 (edited) I didn't browse the whole of this thread so this bass may have featured here before having been owned by BCer Floyd Elgar.. Apologies if this is the case but I hope you enjoy the photos anyway now that the bass is living with me.. Edited August 25, 2011 by TheGreek Quote

rk7 Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 If there is a prize for the worst-quality photograph of the week, I'd like to respectfully put my name forward. Nice bass, crap photo. RK Quote
Phil Mann Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 My pair of Overwater Progress III basses. The fretted is maple burl top, the fretless is Spanish Olive. Just about to order an Ash 5 string Jazz from Chris and the team in the next few weeks. Best, Phil Quote
flippyfloop Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Here is my new Overwater SD. I've added a few options - 26 fret, brass nut. Wonderful bass to play & the sound is awesome. I'll post up some better pic's next week. Bisonboy Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Ok - Here are my 2! a C Bass and a Perception - both great basses and both are used! - need long arms for the C bass though! enjoy! Quote
BigRedX Posted April 19, 2012 Author Posted April 19, 2012 That C Bass is fantastic! Do you know what year it was made? I'm guessing 83/84 from the headstock shape and pickup design? Quote
BarnacleBob Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 (edited) Did the C bass and the normal version ever have an actual model name or number associated with it? I usually refer to them as Overwater Originals but I remember seeing a reprinted review from early 80s which mentioned a model number in the title of the article but cannot remember what it was. Must get the jack socket on BettyBlue fixed she is a fantastic bass despite her dead spot.... BB Edit i think I've found out they were designated OS 957 (unless the 957 was the serial number for the guarantee I saw on eBay) Edited May 21, 2012 by BarnacleBob Quote
Geddys nose Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 (edited) Here's my Artisan with a (Presumed) Slap hole, Never really seen another like this. Nice C Bass BTW. Edited September 7, 2012 by Geddys nose Quote
