Warwick_Official
That is absolutely beautiful Kiwi Jaz! Very versatile instrument...and comfortable too. There's a lot of tones in that combination, so experiment with it, and most of all - Enjoy!! Don't hesitate to let me know if you've got any questions or if I can assist you in any way. Thanks! MarkusWarwick
I miss my stage 2...... In the market for a nice Warwick just now......ss1/2, thumb, fna jazzman and the dolphin were my all time favourites......oh and the dolphin haha
Warwick_Official
The dolphin is incredible - some people judge it because of its unconventional looks, but its got tone like nothing else! Best of luck!

Warwick_Official
waynepunkdude- (Thanks bartelby!) - As pictured, the Fortress flashback (now discontinued) and the Steve Bailey model come standard with scratch-plate. You can add one, as both Robert Trujillo and Jäcki Reznicek have done to their Streamer models. If there is something you'd like to see with a scratch-plate, the custom shop can certainly accommodate that. Please let me know if you've got any questions or if I can assist you in any way. Thanks! lowdowner
I agree with the lack of Warwick lovin' on here, so I'm uploading some of my Thumb 4 string B.O. fretless with Rotosound 88 black nylon flat wounds

Warwick_Official
I find it interesting how strings can change the feel/sound of a bass. Its relatively subtle, but between the feel and the slight nuances, it can really change our perception overall. Sometimes not cheap to experiment, but worth it, IMO! I love the B on a Thumb Bass! lowdowner
I wouldn't describe the Rotosound 88's difference as 'subtle' they're soft and velvety and completely different from Warwick round wound. But I'd definitely recommend experimenting - if you're into fast moving rock, these strings wouldn't work for you at all...
warwickhunt
Thomastik Infeld Alloys work for me on Warwicks (oddly they don't quite sound as good on my Sterling).
Warwick_Official
Yes, indeed! Rounds to nylon flats would not be subtle at all! More-so I was referring to general string changes, but in the case it must be quite a difference. Either way, its always great when you find what works for you! Enjoy! maldy
I have three very lovely warwick 4 strings! A Thumb, Corvette Hot Rod and a Streamer $$ - definitely a Warwick lover! maldy
Ok, finally on a PC. A lot easier than trying to fiddle about on a mobile phone. Here are some pictures of my Streamer $$. Like all Warwicks it is beautifully made.
maldy
Strangely, I don't have any photos of just my Thumb (apart from gig photos), or the Hot Rod. Will definitely have to take some. The Corvette Hot Rod is an amazing bass even if you just look at it and don't play it! I previously had a Warwick Corvette Std fretless. I parted with that on ebay back in around 2006 to pay for the Streamer $$. Here are some of the photos I took then to advertise it on ebay. Again, a lovely bass and it had that warwick quality. Davewick
It has a very similar sound compare to the fretted, only a bit more smooth. Contrariwise, the neck has a total different feeling

DiMarco
One of these is in fact not a Warwick at all. Can you guess which one?
