One brand of bass I've never owned... and now I've got Warwick GAS!!

Which one would you recommend for beefy, bouncy rocky, hard-playing with a picky, hefty loudy soundy in a three-piece bandy? :)

My MiK Star Bass works fantastically in the context of Guitar, Bass Drums and Vocals. It helps to have some valves somewhere in the signal path though.

Been pretty tied up recently, picked this beast up about a month ago. 2013 Streamer Stage 1, broad neck thru neck. Weighs quite a bit, so my shoulder will dictate whether or not it stays.

Haha, safe to say, it's the only time I've ever had to catch my breath after going up a flight a stairs with a bass in a flight case! The balance it beautiful though, I've got a Neotech Mega for it, and going to see how I get on with it. I've also had recessed straplocks put on it, which just moves the neck ever so slightly towards me, which helps a lot!

It's just a matter of getting used to it, I've noticed for a while I've had a fairly knotty back, so it's probably taken a bit of a shock having so much weight added! I've got a friend who's an expert in that side of the body though, so he's offered to 'fix me', and then I'll see how I get on! Sounds mega though!

I almost bought that Thumb, as the seller had it on Gumtree way too cheap. Seller realised and withdrew it from sale :-( I assume he saw the error of his ways and upped the price.

Glad you still got a bargain though :-) Not bitter - I ended up with a Lolphin SN5 TCS instead :-) :-)

Are you going to swap that bone nut for a brass one?

Its a great sound, nothing like a Thumb tone but, other than shape, it has nothing whatsoever in common with a Thumb BO! Lightweight and lovely to play. Need to replace the horrible plastic just a nut II (what were Warwick thinking with that design?!) and get some Prosteels on her. I'll get some decent photos up soon :)
