Fender Bass V

We've been [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=52294"]talking about the Bass VI in the Bass Guitars forum[/url], and the Bass V cropped up in discussion. LeftyJ's spotted [url="http://cgi.ebay.com/Ultra-rare-Fender-Bass-V-from-1966-in-Olympic-White_W0QQitemZ280361980159QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item4146e050ff"]this one on eBay[/url].

Any ideas on whether this is a sensible price or not? As it says, it's one of only 200 made, so it doesn't seem like an unreasonable price to me. Not great condition, but it's apparently "unmolested".

At current exchange rates that's not a lot over £3000.

If it's all original and that rare, I don't suppose that's an outrageous figure.
