Grand Puba Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Last week, I went to Chappell of Bond Street, now confusingly located in Wardour Street, to find the sheet music for Frankly Mr Shankley by The Smiths. I was very disappointed. They had a huge selection of sheet music (approx 5,000 books) but only 10-20 books of bass sheet music consisting of either tuition books or the usual suspects (e.g. Stanley Clarke). I could find sheet music for the Songs of Travis on the Ukulele, but not for the bass guitar. Does anyone have any recommendations for where I can purchase sheet music. Either in London or as a last resort on-line. Thanks in advance for your help Quote

Golchen Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 If you just want one song, there are places on the net where you can just buy a single pdf. If you want a whole book, there are a couple of decent shops in Denmark st with a lot of stuff. Quote

Earbrass Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 You might also try http://www.boosey.com/shop/ ; no idea what they're like for pop music, but were the only place I could find some Renaissance dance music recently. Friendly and helpful on the phone, too. Quote
