Guys I have a brand new Hartke hydrive bass combo for possible sale.

I was given this as a present. I wanted a 115XL cab to go with my existing rig, but this came instead. I've had it for about 2 months. I had a cover made by my wife and then it has sat untouched in the lounge......I will get severe earache if it stays any longer.

So possible trade and cash or a straight cash sale, not sure yet. Make me an offer as my local guitar shop said they could not really offer me what is it worth. Totally unmarked.

This is the guy: http://www.samsontech.com/products/product...8&brandID=3

250 watts 1 x 15 + horn. Horn has a three way switch ( off - -3 and -6dB, I think ) Light and very loud. Warm sounding too. Manual and even the home made cover thrown in :)

Open to offers.

EDIT: High frequency attenuation switch (On, -6 dB, Off). Not as stated above

Yeah had a quick play with it, and a run through with the guys in the band playing acoustic guitars. Comments were favourable...Warm, fat but still clear. I would keep it if I didin't have other gear to use.

See if you can find dealer in your area, so you can test it yourself. I'm now looking at trying out hydrive cabs to see how they compare to my 4x10XL cab.

Thanks for the BUMP !

Bumplestiltskin.

I was looking at exactly this amp for my rig.

Whereabouts are you based? Any idea of a ballpark cash figure?

Did you ever get the 115XL?

Cheers,

Matt

No, I never got the 115XL, and now I am thinking of the Hydrive cabs or another 410XL instead.

Cornwall based here...Looking for offers above £300 as it is new.

Seems to have been a recent price crash on these amps. I've seen them new for over £550, but also significantly less.

Definitely tempted to make you an offer. Weighing up my options as I'm considering all sorts of gear to replace my bogus rig. A new bass is top priority, preferably Corvette $$ 5 NOF, but this may now be on hold because the supply seems to have dried up until the end of July.

Thanks for all the info!

There have been a recent price rise, not crash! On the whole Hartke range.

Yeah, so I heard, but sometimes there's no logic in the free market... Inexplicably, I've seen Hydrive 115C on sale right now for a lot less than £550 from a UK retailer, which I why I was curious to find out the ballpark figure. "Above £300" is a spot-on answer from badass - £300 would be a giveaway, but I'll leave it to other people to figure it out rather than spoil the fun.

Hi there,
I'm new to basschat, only just started playing bass really. I'm looking for a solid bass combo and this sounds like it might be ideal. Where are you based and what have you come to as your "happy to sell at" price?

Perhaps you could PM me?

Thanks
