phippsyg Posted June 30, 2009 Share Posted June 30, 2009 Hi there, My band is about to embark on a European tour (from Australia) and am hoping to get some advice/help with booking some gigs in the UK whilst we visit family and friends for a couple of weeks before heading over to Europe. We will be in the UK from the 9th of July till the 25th, when we head over to Amsterdam. We are a funk/reggae band and are playing at a bunch of Reggae festivals. You can hear the tunes at myspace.com/wearetheflavour. Whilst the band in this format is fairly new we have played a bunch of sold out shows here and have received national airplay. What I was hoping for is any contacts, leads, maybe the possibility of support slots?? Anything to help us out with getting some shows running. We have heaps of family and friends wanting to see us play in the UK but we need to book the shows off our own back. Would be really appreciative of any helpful advice, Cheers.
