Calling all Gallien-Krueger owners in the North-West!

What it says in the title!

I'm really interested in A/B'ing either one of these fine amps against my Genz-Benz Shuttle 6.0, using my Barefaced Compact. Is there anybody out there with either a 700 or 1001 RB-II within, say an hour's drive of Liverpool? I'll bring my setup with me of course, so if anyone's curious about the Compact or the Shuttle they can give them a spin...

I can tell you that they're very punchy, very clean sounding if that helps at all.

Might be a bit too far, but Promenade music in Morecambe had a 700 in last time I was there. They're very friendly so will have no problem with you a/bing things probably.

I use a GK 1001 RB II. Your rig is actually on my gas list, although I've never tried either.

Etienne, are you playing in town any time soon? I've been thinking about a lightweight rig and fancy hearing your Compact in action! One of our lads borrowed a guitar off Stu that's still sat in my flat too, so I need to catch up with you guys anyway.
