I'm relying on people to post here with venues they can [b]trust[/b]. My goal isn't to get 100 venues on here, it's to get the most trusted venues on here. I thought it would be easier for me to have them all in one place, and then people don't have to trawl through pages looking for a venue. I'm just going to start putting some up now! Quote

I'm working on a database at the mo where i'm collecting venues, phone numbers, email and website where available. I'll forward it to you once i've got a decent amount and you can them to your list. Nights at Water Rats are mostly promoted in house by Monto, though several nights a week the venue seems to be hired out. Personally I'd prefer not to deal with Monto, though others appear not to share my reservations. Quote

I used to play the Water Rats about 9 years ago and it was ok. Always a pretty good venue. My new band have been looking at getting some gigs in London but it looks like I might have to avoid the Water Rats now. I did speak to the promoter last week. A guy called Tom Rogerson and he did seem very friendly but it does sound very dodgy there now. Quote
