DanOwens
Hey guys, The 'Holy Trinity' was mentioned in the cover band thread and I was about to add mine but I wondered... 'How many variations can there be?' Mine? Octave Fuzz Filter Sick synth madness!! What's yours? Dan
ezbass
Up until recently it was Chorus, Octave & Compressor. A change of amp lost me the octave (I'll be replacing with a pedal soon though) and I just stopped using the compressor. I've also got an MXR M88 dist/DI box, but that's only there for amp failure these days, I think I might replace that with a Sadowsky preamp/DI, but man they are not cheap. warwickhunt
Octaver (Boss) - Chorus (Boss) - Phaser (EHM Small Stone 'original') I also now have an EBS Compressor but I'm not sure that I'd class it as an effect and it hasn't earned a place on my pedal board as yet. Finbar
Cream Pie Memory Man (kills a few birds with one stone) Digitech Whammy There's stuff like a tuner, but that's not the same thing. I could tune up with a non-pedal tuner before playing if I had to.

dannybuoy
Bass BB -> VT Bass is my core sound, if I had to pick a 3rd it would depend on the genre, either an MXR Carbon Copy for post-rock or the Option 5 Destination Rotation Single rotating leslie speaker sim for blues / classic rock, or a Supercollider fuzz for heavy stuff! Happy Jack
Does the Option 5 actually work well with bass? I thought it was a guitar effect that could also work with keyboards.

XP-100 whammy/wah LMB3 limiter a dirt pedal! I can't decide which one. I most like the sound of guitar pedals in a blend loop, so I can't put my usual ones! ase_one23
i love that 2 people have a whammy as an essential cant-do-without-it pedal. much awesomeness!
EskimoBassist
This thread is almost impossible to reply to! It would have to be: Fuzz Overdrive Octaver. Actually no! It would be: MXR M80 DI DUNLOP 105Q Wah Korg AX3000B Multi

DanOwens
No, Tom, YOU can't have enough dirt. Most of us are happy with a handful of soil but you, sir, need a Mexico-based land-grab company.
