Am selling my Natural MM 5, bought on here about 10 months ago. Bass in great nick and has been played in anger twice, not giving it enough use to justify it's place in my downsized musicroom.

Some pics from my purchase can be found here -

Bought for £700 and had about £150 worth of neck redressing and refretting by Strings and Things (MM UK Reseller).

Am looking for my purchase price.

Anyone interested?

Edit** MM Stingray V serial # E58926 - Natural Gloss finish, maple - completion date 27/03/2007 **

I've just `rediscovered' StingRay basses recently and am now using a teal green 4 stringer for a lot of pub gigs that I'm now doing whilst the downturn has robbed me of a great deal of corporate work! The sound is perfect - a real underpinning bass sound. Are you looking at trades at all?

Hi Nick,

Would really want a sale, but would (slightly, possibly) consider a trade for a different config SR 4 (currently have a single H).

Thanks

Julian........65 basses I thought my 6 was bad enough....

Hello,

Might be looking for a change soon and have always wanted a musicman 5. Just curious about the £150 spent on neck refretting etc. It looks like quite a new bass and I have not heard of these needing a refret or dress at a young age. I dont mean to imply anything just curious if it was major work for some reason or just a thorough set up?

Thanks,

Nathan

Thanks, it's a fantastic bass, just not coping with the 5th string unfortunately.

Hi there.

Is your Stingray 5 still up for grabs?
