Chris2112
I've got a pick that Stuart Hamm used to play "Flying in a blue dream" when I saw him with Joe Satriani. That was a show and half.
7string
Cool picks Clarky! I thought you might like to see these that I've grabbed over the years. I never used to wear my glasses to a gig, so I was useless at catching picks for a few years! Clockwise: Billy Sheehan from a Steve Vai tour Marco Mendoza when he played with Thin Lizzy Jason Becker (bought this one on eBay) Kip Winger (solo gig) Phil Collen (Def Leppard gig) who uses metal picks. Difficult to photograph as it's etched, but you can just make out "Leppard" in the middle. Edited July 10, 2009 by 7string

sturm
heavy metal + slipknot in the same sentence?
Clarky
heavy metal + slipknot in the same sentence?
Quote from Wikipedia: "Slipknot is an American heavy metal band from Des Moines, Iowa, formed in 1995." Heavy metal, to me, at least is a pretty broad description that encompasses most forms of loud, overdriven guitar-based rock. I grew up in the 70s when Deep Purple were considered heavy metal and I very much doubt that the heavy metal yoots of today would dare be seen carrying a copy of 'Made in Japan'. I used to be in death/thrash metal band and Slipknot were not a million miles from some of our stuff.

Eight
I've got a few, but the only one I can be 100% sure of it's authenticity, is a Dimebag Darrell pick that I actually got hit by at a show. Damn near took my eye out.

thebeat
The only famous pick i have is from Christy Moore...neither bass nor very rock, is it? I also have an autographed Chirsty Moore set list, complete with Christy doodle, which is also not very rock I feel inadequate.
