paz Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I am currently using a little big muff for my fuzz/distortion but it doesn’t really have enough bottom end and the notes aren’t very defined. Can anyone recommend a middle of the range pedal? Cheers P Quote

dirtystatic Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 hey man, i used to use the same pedal and i had the same problems. ive been advised to seek out a zoom fuzz factory, a coloursound tonebender and a tonefactor huckleberry. one i particularly liked the sound of was the zvex woolly mammoth but its expensive and ive not heard many good thinks about it from some of the guys on here ofcourse i cant offer you any more advice than that but ill let you know how i get on when i get round to trying them Quote
Darcy Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Big Muff and the little big muff are both fine pedals but your right they do suck out your bottom end. I use a Boss LS2 line selcetor, the muff on one loop and a clean signal or some times another pedal on the other and you can blend them, this gives can give you if blended correctly the right amount of bottom end and dirt ;-) Quote
