far0n
Just wanted some opionions on how viable it is to thin the width of a bolt on neck. I'm talking about talking 3-4mm off the top and bottom edges and moving the strings closer together. Obviously I'd be changing the bridge as well and maybe the nut too. Any advice and expert opinions welcome ! Cheers Faron
Mr. Foxen
If its a nice neck, don't do what I did and painstakingly scrap it down with a stanley knife blade removing a fine layer each time for most of a day. Super tight fit now though.
Kiwi
Jon Shuker did pretty much the same thing to my Headless 6 using a belt sander with carbonundrum paper and he didn't even need to take out any frets.
