Simple question for Squier Deluxe Jazz Bass owners

Simple question for Squier Deluxe Jazz Bass owners , I noticed these basses dont have fret markers on the fretboard , just wondered , do they have dot markers on the side of the neck?

It's pretty safe to assume they do - I don't know of any production electric basses with no markings at all.

Oh ! In that case it's every other bass in the world that doesn't and just the Squier that does .

How long have they been selling the Deluxe Jazz in 4 string version? I've had the 5 and loved it, and seem to recall a few past posts with people wishing for a 4 string version...
