waynepunkdude
I have a gig next Saturday in a local pub, it's a childrens charity thing so we have decided to go acoustic and I think my SVT might be overkill. Would my Perfect Ten mini rig be able to handle it?
wateroftyne
IME no. They're for bedroom use only.
waynepunkdude
Because of volume?
dangerboy
I did a gig with an Ashdown Five Fifteen once. By the end of the night it was completely wrecked and sounded distinctly unhealthy. Gain and volume were both on full to make it loud enough. Thankfully - not my amp, I didn't choose the settings!
Hamster
As long as the rest of the band play at a lower level and you do a bit of boundary reinforcement it should be ok. Don't take it past 75% though or it'll sound bad and suffer.
budget bassist
take it to a band practice and find out. Normally i'd say no, but if it's an acoustic set... maybe...
