fusionbassist1
Even though i started a thread already i thought i'd properly introduce myself. Name's Ben, from North Wales. I play in one welsh band primarily who've released a fairly low budget album this febuaryish. I played with a band before that who released a single that hit number 10 in the welsh charts. Will have had my own bass 4 years at christmas 2007 although i taught myself to play fretless bass around 5 months before aquiring my own fretted. I read standard notation, 100% theory buff, can play tap and slap but never do so live. Main influences (in order of phases i liked them) mike dirnt, flea, guy from muse (i forget), james jamerson, jaco. HUGE JACO FAN. Jazz dweeb by trade and playing the stuff is where all the fun's to be had imho. I play a washburn T24 that i put dimarzio ultrajazz pickups into with a router around 6 months back. The first steady rig i owned with my old basses was the Behringer BX4500 (vomits at the thought while looking back) which i bought sadly at the same time as a BA115. I later added an old Laney 2x10". The head was replaced in January with a 1970's Ampeg V4B, i've had loads of hastle so it's back to the shop for a refund i'm afraid. Hopefully laying my hands on an Ampeg SVT3-Pro soon. That's me. hI EvERYboDy !!
