lee4
As a bit of idle speculation dressed up as bass research,I would like to pick your brains. My main bass is a Status Groove.I love the feel, the sound(warm, middly growl),and the look of it,but as they are rarer than an honest MP,what would you suggest as a replacement should my beloved expire? It would have to have all the main ingredients of the Groove, and not be a custom instrument. Oh,please don't suggest a MM Stingray as I've tried them and dislike them! wizbat
This is easy! Own two. :-)
GreeneKing
Basses rarely expire, long term anyway methinks. Have something you get on with as a cheap backup until it's fixed?
bubinga5
I think Lee is asking us to recommend a backup bass that is similar in tone to a Status Groove should the Status give up the ghost..
lee4
Absolutely,Bubinga5.To date,I have never found a bass that fits the bill as well as my Groove. But remember, this is only idle speculation. The Groove seems pretty tough(crosses fingers).
Telebass
Two of them is the only answer, rare or not!
