silverfoxnik
Just bought a Sandberg five string set and fitted them to my Fender Jazz Deluxe V and was very, very disappointed in the quality of the strings.. First of all, very poor string tension which didn't flatter the B string at all and there was no real definition in the sound; I think the words 'flabby' and 'vague' spring to mind.. Worst of all was the fact that the intonation was suddenly all over the place?? Anyway, they were so bad I took them off and put the old EBS strings back on and, although they're pretty old, they sounded much, much better and everything was suddenly back in tune! Was this just a bad batch or has anyone else experienced this with a set of Sanbergs?
Veils
When I got my Sandberg back in the day, I thought the strings were brilliant! Maybe I got a one off good set or you got a one off rubbish set?
