Ooft, Make that into a single coil, then add another at the bridge, the offset the body, maybe put the controls onto a chrome plate and make the neck playable and you'd have one hell of a bass! :)

Hehe, Im kidding, Im slowly beggining to feel like a P might suit my live tone better, but i just cant bring myself to do it!

Final touch, the bass has holes in the plate and , as I later discovered screw holes for a rest. I'm surprised one wasn't fitted or supplied but it would have been black plastic anyway.

I've fitted an ebony rest in place, purely decorative don't you know :)

With the bits the bass still comes in at only 9lbs.
