At Download this year Rex Brown was running 8 SVTs into four 8x10 cabs.

Only one was mic'd up though.

Last time I saw Lamb of God each guitarist had three Framus triple stacks but only two of the cabs were actually loaded with speakers and hooked up to heads.
That explains why they were so damn loud that day. I'm not complaining though, they were the best band that day!

Is that because the low frequency waves were so loud that they managed to do something to your brain to make you forget about the previous bands and you just couldn't hear anything afterwards?

Hi.

Yea, we have got a fair few more amps and cabs since that stupid picture was taken. Hoping to be getting Rob's Marshall 1x18 this week as well as two 100w Burmans in a few weeks. Need to get an organ module to play with my midi pedals too to run through another amp. This is just my guitar rig :)

Off to see Sunn O))) this week, hooray.

Sorry, no pictures, but Josh Homme of QOTSA had an Ampeg 8x10 laying on its side with 2 4x12 Marshalls balanced on top of it. Signal from guitar was split by an octaver, and the resultant outputs fed to appropriate pre/power amps.

That was his backline at The Garage (Highbury/Islington)

The stage there is hardly BIG...
