Mr Fudge
Replaced the pups in my (more or less) 75RI Jazz with some 84's. Big, warm, beefy and growly in a good way. More output than the original pups, but nowhere as sensitive as active elecronics which I just couldn't get on with. (I've tried Sadowsky and JE Retro). Im really pleased with these pick ups. There are some great combinations when you roll the tone down and switch between pups. This is something that has not really appealed to me on previous pups and I have just had everything turned full and tweked the amp instead. Andy was a pleasure to deal with and when he had a break in production he knocked my pups up and they were on the doormat the next day. Superb ... I also added a Gotoh bridge which is excellent and IMO as good as a Badass, but £50 less. PS. Im posting some pictures in the gear porn section. Mr Fudge
Fully gigged them last night. WOW! meaty, deep, very, very tight and classically growly. Just what I wanted. It's great when you buy a product and it's everything you expected and more. I highly recommend wizzards.
