It is an incredible playing 4 string, the best I've ever picked up. BUT, I find myself not getting the sound I want. I have considered changing the PuPs and Pre but wouldnt really want to change this from stock after all the sound is what its all about. 2 Pieces of Flamed Maple make up the body, Wenge neck and Finger board ( that alone makes this quite a rare bass, so Im told ) Twin J Pups in the 'Sweet Spot' Warwicks phrasing'. Active 2 band eq - vol-blend-Bass/Treb (stacked) Pull on the vol to switch to passive mode. In passive mode the bass works without a battery. For trades Im looking something slightly more old school sounding. 5 strings preferable. Lakland 5502, Spector Euro LX, maybe even the right Jazz bass. WHY Edited September 8, 2007 by mikeh
