Probably a pointless pack of lies based on that response - backed up by the fact X Ray Spex never "toured everywhere" & split up in 1979 - before this bass was made!

Nonetheless £50 was probably a reasonable price for an Ibby Blazer project, assuming it's complete & nothing's wrecked.
