DHA
I did that worked fine then it went off then it was fine again probably just pulled the lead out a little. Overall impression was very good though, I used it directly into the power amp on my Superfly and it pulled off a very very sweet Ska tone, I'm not the smartest when it comes to explaining such things but I'd say there are a lot of tonal variations available on it and it will become a cheap, practical, high quality back up.
glad it's working and you like it. Beer of the Bass
I've just done a little recording for a friend using mine (Jazz bass into DI-EQ, straight to soundcard, with an amp linked up for monitoring). First impressions are that it's clean and quiet, with plenty of gain on tap. I think it's going to be a very useful swiss-army-knife type box to have at hand. I do a valve blender as well but that does not have a DI. The VT3-Twin-EQ-Bass-RM is a 1U rack that has twin channels, 3 DI's, valve FX loop with blend, tuner mute, headphone amp, line in. Kirky
Dave, Do you do either the DI-EQ or twin version as a kitset? I do enjoy building these things (as long as the instructions are good). I couldn't see any mention of kitsets on your website or ebay shop. Many thanks, Martin
