Fender Japan

Do all Fender Japan basses have where they are made on the heal of the neck with the serial no or can they be found on the head stock instead?

AAWWW shame!! a fiesta red 70,s jazz bass with a matching headstock, would be VERY!! interesting to me!!!! i thought for a bit it was a jaguar bass as they have matching headtock (in red) and the bound, with blocks, rosewood fingerboard ( bloody nice basses BTW) and are MIJ!!!!

On Japanese Fenders it's usually even called 'Old Candy apple Red (OCR)'.
