Guest MoJo Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 (edited) Following the arrival of my new rig, I need to sell my trusty Trace Elliot 122H Combo. Rated at 300 watts into 4 ohms, it features Trace Elliot's GP12 Pre-amp The front panel includes:
Inputs for Passive and Active Basses Harmonic Emphasis: Creates artificial harmonics and brightens the tone (gives life to dying strings) Pre-shape : Gives that classic Trace 'scooped' tone (ideal for popping and slapping) 12 band graphic EQ Valve stage (with drive control): Adds a little (or a lot) of bite to your sound Dual band Compressor: Very useful compressor that operates separately on two different frequency bands (good for extra thump) Noise reduction: Removes that annoying mains hum from dimmer switches Effects loop In/Out Switch Mute/Tuner Switch: Mutes the output to the speakers allowing you to tune in silence
The rear panel features:
Input sockets for the optional footswitch and mute switch Effect loop send/return: Switchable for serial/parallel operation and level control to balance effects loop to direct signal Line Output socket Tuner Output socket DI output socket: switchable between Pre and Post EQ
Like most of the Trace combos the front panel lights up in a sexy green glow when powered up (looks great on a dimly lit stage) I've used this combo in both my bands and it can produce a wide range of very useful tones and is powerful enough to hold it's own when up against a loud drummer and a Hughes & Kettner Switchblade equipped guitarist. It's in execellent condition. Everything works as it should and it's never let me down. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks - Mark Edited July 27, 2009 by bassman2790
Guest MoJo Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Now on eBay if anyone fancies a punt.
Guest MoJo Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 It's pretty heavy. Not sure exactly as I don't have scales that will weigh it. I have carried it from my car 30 or 40 yards to the venue but I wouldn't recommend anyone do it. It's definitly a two man lift
