Swans in Flight Cross Atlantic Line-Up Now Confirmed The British rock band Swans in Flight, have announced that they are to play a 7 date UK tour this September with a line-up that will include acclaimed US rock musicians, TM Stevens and Marco Mendoza. The band’s debut, self-titled album attracted some 13 name guest players from band’s such as Megadeth, Billy Idol Band and Jethro Tull, but now this tour continues to underscore Swans In Flight’s ability to ‘pull’ the names. TM Stevens, the king of Metal Funk, is renowned for his work with James Brown, Miles Davis, Tina Turner, Steve Vai, The Pretenders and Joe Cocker. Marco Mendoza, on the other hand, is one of the biggest names in rock music, working with the likes of Ted Nugent, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake and John Sykes. thisnameistaken Posted July 25, 2009 Share Posted July 25, 2009 I met TM Stevens at a gig he did in New Jersey in the mid-90s, turned out he was working with a few people we knew / were working with, so we used to hang out when he was in town.
