These are Good, well built German stands: http://www.studiospares.com/Stands-Speaker...ack/invt/438660
My sound engineer mate has 4 that have been going for 10 years of hire indoors and out.

About £100 for a pair with postage - You get what you pay for.

Moo.

We use Proel SPSK300AL PA Speaker Stands for our Peavey's.
Very lightweight and they have a air-cushioned release mechanism. This makes them very easy to adjust single handed.
Not cheap though.

You could have a look on Thomanns website. loads there.
