tischbein Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 (edited) It´s all scratched !!! Beautiful. Bump for a sexy bass. Need a nice fretless bass ?? Edited July 30, 2009 by tischbein
Cairobill Posted July 30, 2009 Author Posted July 30, 2009 Unfortunately I'm only up for cash as I have a custom fretless on order...which might also be a battered jazz bass! cb
Kiwi Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I was wondering how long it would be before one of these popped up. Good luck with the sale.
Guest BassKS Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 These things go for 2k in Denmark Street. Looks good. this CAR/TORT/ROSEWOOD is my favourite after OLY/TORT/ROSEWOOD on a jazz. good luck
Cairobill Posted August 1, 2009 Author Posted August 1, 2009 Vintage and Rare prices are very distorted on the upside but these have certainly gone up a bit since the Pound went down the toilet. I think the bottom line is that if you are about to buy a new Fender for a grand, this would be a much wiser choice, I've had a 76 and a 98 US Fender and this creams them in every respect...apart from being a bit scratched ha ha This is a very nice bass and here's a Saturday bump... CB
wesfinn Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Im very tempted by this...I've been looking for a candy red jazz to get over sparayed in Olympic white to match my custom shop P bass i have on order. I'll have to maybe sell something off...
wesfinn Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009
sell the aggie, emgd P bass, wes.
Now theres an idea! interested Fatos?
Cairobill Posted August 17, 2009 Author Posted August 17, 2009 And a swift little bump to advertise it's re-advertising... Bump...
Guest BassKS Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 wasnt it 950 when you advertised it first? great bass though.
Clarky Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 (edited)
wasnt it 950 when you advertised it first? great bass though.
IIRC it was £1050 ONO. Nice looking bass, good luck with sale PS, does Robert Trujillo play Nash basses as he plays two battered old P basses live (one oly/tort/rosewood; one black/anodised/maple) and neither has a headstock logo? gnasher1993 Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 If I had £1000 to spend on a bass, I'd take this. My surname is Nash...that'd be pretty cool to have a Nash jazz bass . Perhaps it was meant to be... *searches pockets for £1000 in loose change* I've got £3.24, a £15 Next voucher, a used train ticket from Outwood to Hull and a Baritone saxophone reed. Any use to ya? That's a no isn't it ... Have a free bump on me, good luck with the sale.
