Does anybody else think the bass playing on this track is very good? i dont think its a synth. Does anyone have a decent transcription or tab? Cheers.

Completely forgot about that bassline, love that album as well. I'd say it's definitely a real track as opposed to synth.

The basic root notes of the groove are:

E, C sharp, C, D.

In that order.

Nearly there but it still doesnt sound quite right.

I used to play the ''hook' synth and bass part from "Hard, Better, Faster, Stronger" with a synthy sound on my 6er. You need the high C for the last few notes.. but it sounds GREAT and you have to jump up the neck quickly to catch it on time.

HHmm it looks like i will need a bass with more strings than 4.
