Unfortunately your lovely bass is 'blue' and I don't do blue, so I can not be considered a serious buyer! Good luck though.

lozbass Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Hi - welcome to the site. Does the bass have any blemishes or is it in entirely 'as new' condition? Also, does it have the VTC option?
MB1 Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 MB1. .....Youd have to sell a lot of cases for that one Loz! BUMP!

molan Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Now I am a serious fan of blue basses - especially Sadowsky ones with maple necks! Shame it's not a 5'er. . .

Apothem Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 (edited) Really nice and attractive price!! BTW, must be the son of this one from 1995... LOL ( A couple of fellow BCers have had the pleasure before, but now she's staying put ) Edited July 28, 2009 by Apothem
Do you know what, I've actually been giving this some serious thought over recent weeks. Do you reckon your average 4 string jazz would cope OK dropping the tuning down one?
warwickhunt Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009
Do you know what, I've actually been giving this some serious thought over recent weeks. I tried one of the de-tuners when they first came out but found it easier and more reliable to just give the tuner a twist and tune by ear. One string being dropped by a tone doesn't upset the neck on my Sadowsky or Lakland either.

There's not much a 5 string can do that a 4 can't!
