In the process of booking some gigs up and just wondering if anyone has played any of these venues and if they are worth playing at or should be avoided.

[b]Bar Music Hall[/b] - 134 Curtain Road, Shoreditch, EC2A 3AR
[b]Troy Bar[/b] - 10 Hoxton Street, Shoreditch, London N1 6NG

No idea, never been in any of them but if you do play any of them (and not on a sat) give me a shout as i live at old street.
That area is very, very busy at the weekends so you should get a good crowd.

Yeah, you too. Im gigging every Sat until almost Christmas time so cant promise anything.

During the day at work. Thats the only reason i go some days :-)
Very dangerous.

After playing that JO5 i do want one but going back to rounds has brought new life to the P5 so until the BG5 comes out im happy.
Saying that maybe ill look for a trade at some point, either a JO5 or DJ5. I do miss the Lakland neck.

I can report back about Bar Music Hall.
Always found it to be a good venue, both as performer and punter.

As with Dave, if you play anywhere round the city on a school night then give me a shout as I work down the road.

i wouldnt play the cobden club. They mess us around when my band went there. They put on a ridiculous amount of acts and we didnt get to play till around 12!?! I wouldnt recommend gigging there. You'll probably leave dissapointed and angry like we did.
