RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Howdy! You may have spotted a plea for help in one of my recent posts , regarding my Aggie amp. There seems to be nothing wrong with it. I've used planet wave cables most . The reasons being because of their nice colours(yes really) and because they look pretty sturdy so to speak. Anyway , could any of you out there suggest what you consider the best leads out there ? Also , regarding the effects send/return sockets on an amp for effects: Does anybody know if I could/should get a'y' shaped lead for that , or 2 seperate ones? Cheers Ray

GreeneKing
You really did close the other thread As I said there, I'm more than happy with custom cables at a good price from Dave. Amp/Cab cables as thick as your arm, well nearly http://www.bassic.co.uk/

I like to custom order bass spk leads so as to get them the right length exactly, not oodles of spare or a bit of a stretch.
BOD2
Regarding your FX Send/Return question - Assuming your amp has separate Send and Return jacks, then you will only need a Y-lead if the FX unit you are connecting to has only a single combined Send/Return jack. If the FX unit also has separate Send and Return jacks then you just need two separate mono jack leads.
