MB1
MB1. You might be better asking the manufacturers of this product these questions, as i know a lot of bass players on the forum use miners pit helmets when theyre gigging to light theyre fret boards in low light, they also look great too! damn sight cheaper than this fangled technology!. spike
I've found that the lamp on a classic 60s miners helmet has a warmer, mellower beam, causing less problems for the audience when you look up from your fretboard.
Bloodaxe
Yeah, but the quality control is very variable & the prices are ridiculous these days. Much better is an early 80s Japanese through-wired one.
charic
Lol. Well ive been in touch with the guys there. Hats off too them so far. Extremely helpful and fast replys. -battery will last around 6 hours (dependent on what kind of battery ofcourse) -it still screws on (any ideas of an alternative?) -it has a small switch in the same area as the tone and volume -and you cant change the brightness (yet dimmer switch/variable resister anybody hehe)
