xilddx
Hello all, I'm about to buy a current Corvette Standard ash unlined fretless, but I can not find any info about the side dots! Are the the side dots "on the fret" or between the same as a fretted bass? Thanks as always
martthebass
Played a couple of these - both were on the fret. YMMV....

xilddx
Superb, thanks gents! Really appreciate the lightspeed response
BigRedX
If it's unlined, the dots should be where the frets would be. If not it's wrong.
xilddx
Thanks, I was just making sure, I've seen weird things on basses in the past, and I am sure I have seen basses with them in the fretted positions before, not defrets either. Thanks again.
BigRedX
I do have an unlined fretless bass with the dots in the positions they would be if it was fretted. It's unusable in a live situation because it takes me too long to adjust. Also since mine was made (it's serial number 2) the dots have been moved to their more logical positions on current production models.
